Our agent Scott went above and beyond the call of duty when helping us find our new home. We moved to Wichita from 12 hours away and Scott was our eyes and ears on the ground for weeks. He made us feel comfortable and confident since day one. He takes his communication seriously and was available to us when we needed him. We will be forever thankful for him and how he helped us find and outfit our new home. We love it! I highly recommend Scott and the team here.

In reply to the owner's response: Unfortunately, the response of feigned sympathy is an empty gesture. Having worked in real estate, I know that referrals and repeat business are a realtor's best friend. Although this transaction went awry for reasons that they could not control, I have received NO further communication from our realtor, nor her office. It seems that once she received the bare minimum of what she wanted from our transaction - her commission - she felt she had nothing else to gain and has completely vanished (as well as unfriended me on Facebook which, as far as I'm concerned, is just petty). If there had been some sort of follow-up, checking in on us to see how we're settling in to our new - and being improved - home, I likely would have referred prospective buyers to her and hired her to list our home when it comes time to sell. Being a military family, both of these situations are guaranteed. However, given the lack of follow-up, I will be taking my business elsewhere. If you take nothing else from my review, notice that almost all of the positive reviews of this company come from those who work for it, in attempt to raise their rating. Original Review: Upon receiving a military assignment to Wichita, my family got connected with a realtor from the Trusted Advisor team at Re/max Premier to help us find a home to purchase. The realtor with whom we worked was friendly and knowledgeable about the area, which was important to us as newcomers to the area. Her communication with us through the process of purchasing the home we chose left something to be desired - I often had to initiate contact with her in order to receive updates. Additionally, the home inspector that was hired by her recommendation missed quite a few health & safety items, most notably mold and water damage that were pre-existing to our offer and ownership, as determined by a mold remediation company. Upon approaching this realtor to be an advocate (and trusted advisor) for us to find recourse with the sellers, who did not disclose the water problems caused by the outdated roof, we were sorely disappointed with the lack of concern or action by this realtor, her team lead, and the managing broker. Although we were told there were attempts to correspond with the seller's agent and broker, we found ourselves being strung along for over a month in hopes of recourse with the seller to ultimately be told that there wouldn't be any. We ended up ponying up almost $2,000 to mitigate mold and water damage that was present far prior to our ownership (as made evident by wood rot on the subfloor and wall studs). All things said, this realtor and her team were not trusted advisors, nor effective advocates in our experience, but would likely be sufficient for a client with an uncomplicated transaction.

DAWN WADE...... I don't know who thought it was a good idea to hire this person. It's like she doesn't want to sell the property she has listed on behalf of RE/MAX. I've tried to get in contact with this agent on multiple properties but she never return your call and when does TEXT you back she has an excuse as to why the property isn't a good choice. Her ability to deal customers is so poor I feel bad for the company she is representing. RE/MAX PLEASE CHOOSE YOUR AGENTS WISELY.

Watch out for Chris Lary's terrible, terrible communication skills. She's very friendly and engaging when in the presence of other realtors or builders to the point of being fake. Otherwise, its pulling teeth to get info from or through her. She will tell you what she thinks you want to hear before you sign the contract, but won't give you the time of day once she believes there's no more money to be made off you. Just stop and ask any of the residents in Bay Country that have delt with her. Everyone has a Chris Lary story and all the stories share the same arrogant, indifferent, and greedy undertone. Be warned.
